In the late 90s, while looking for a way to make extra money ... without selling Mary Kay in other people's homes after work ... I discovered the beauty of network marketing without networking. Well, networking but with people who WANTED to network instead of people you needed to convince. Thank you Internet. I was able to quit my day job and work from home and set my own schedule FINALLY. Freedom.

Now, if you aren't old enough to remember the late 90s ...
 

The internet was NOTHING like what we enjoy today. No Thing like it. To get on we needed a computer, a modem, a landline and an account on which our modem could "dial up" the internet. 

And we were charged by the minute. So, get on. Get off. Or pay dearly.

So, while we were using the internet to distribute information via email, or very basic web sites, we were NOT doing much else.
 

Except MySpace, Forums and Message Boards.

Let's talk about tech ...
 

Phones were still pretty big, not touch screen and definitely not smart. Texting meant using the phone keys to make letters, and we got charged per text, too. We're talking a different world.

For those doing business online ... every day brought something new to learn

While I started this journey in my late 30s, because I was always learning something new, I just kept learning something new. So, when crypto currencies came along and the blockchain, it was just something new to learn. Unlike my peers (let me tell you there aren't a lot of women in their mid 50s into this stuff), I didn't look at it like something that would just go away or never affect me if I just ignored it.

Most of what I do online is about beauty from the inside out. Focusing on health and looking better as a benefit.

But, this blockchain stuff, bitcoin, it's not going away. And, in fact, for those who embrace it now, the benefits are amazing.
